We are urgently seeking a Junior Finance Analyst to support our financial services client for an initial 6-month period.
You'll need proven analytical abilities, as well as sufficient knowledge of business / finance analysis tools and methodologies, to meet required deadlines.
Key responsibilities will include:
Use Excel to conduct in-depth analysis in order to generate month-end reports and reconciliations
Must be able to demonstrate the ability to challenge, through critical thinking and articulate presentation
12 months commercial experience, ideally within the insurance / financial services sector would be ideal
Excellent financial analysis and analytical skill set with a commercial bias
The ideal individual:
Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, time management and written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced Microsoft Office capabilities, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Competency with spreadsheets & financial modelling (comfortable with data manipulation and financial systems)
