- Lloyd Recruitment Services are pleased to be working with a family run business on the outskirts of Horley who are in search of a Finance Assistant to join their growing team on a permanent basis.
As a direct result of the successful growth of the company, a new role has arisen in the Finance Dept for an experience Finance Assistant to join their team.
This opportunity would either suit someone who has 3 plus years’ experience in a varied finance role, or someone already studying looking to widen their experience by gaining exposure to a high-volume, multi-currency business environment.

Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm
Study support for an accounting qualification

Must be a driver due to location
Key responsibilities:
You will also be involved in some ad-hoc projects including general ledger reconciliations and participation in month end closure routines
The finance dept provides information to meet business needs, as such a positive collaborative approach is key for all staff
The role will come with direct on-the-job training and support with the potential to expand the role into other areas of the finance function over time to continue your training and development needs as appropriate
Bank, credit card and petty cash entry and reconciliations
Purchase ledger entry, reconciliation and managing the deposit account process
Sales ledger reconciliations and aged debt management
High volumes of data entry
Helpful but not essential experience of:
Experience of systems not essential but the following basic traits are considered highly desirable
Sage experience
Intermedia to advanced Excel
Numerate, detail oriented, diligent, reliable, organised individual capable of working independently and resolving problems
Bookkeeping
VAT
