- Lloyd Recruitment Services are pleased to be working with a manufacturing company in the East Grinstead area who are looking to recruit for a Junior Accounts Assistant to join their friendly team.
Due to their continued expansion, this can be a busy office dynamic, so our client is looking for someone who is good at multitasking and computer literate. An understanding of finance and accounts is desirable but not essential as this is a trainee position.
Salary £20k - £23k depending on experience
Parking onsite
8:30 – 17:00pm Monday to Friday

The Role:
Purchase ledger including invoices and payments
Sales ledger, including invoicing and receipts
Upkeep of sales invoice register, order received register and invoice spreadsheet
Banking and reconciliation
Administration of monthly mileage sheets and van inspection sheets
Checking order register for compliance and completion
Maintaining and updating multiple online systems
Preparing the information for the monthly payroll
Sales invoicing, purchase invoicing, credit control and general administrative duties
Receiving orders and entering
Maintaining a quotations file – electronic and scanned
Providing administrative support to managers and employees
Preparing budgets
Personal specification:
Previous experience in a finance role (desirable)
SAP experience (advantageous)
VT accountancy package (advantageous but not essential)
Attention to detail with an analytical mind
Excellent customer service
This is a versatile and varied role and will require someone who is well organised, conscientious, and flexible and has a methodical approach to day-to-day tasks
Works well under pressure and can meet tight deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good mathematics skills
Basic user of Excel
Salary up to £23K DOE
