- Description
- Lloyd Recruitment Services are currently working with a reputable business based on the outskirts of East Grinstead who are currently in search of a Stores Person / Van Driver to join their team on a permanent part time basis.
Previous warehouse/ stores / driving experience would be preferable but no essential.
£12.50 per hour – working days are Tuesdays and Thursdays (ideally a bit of flexibility to work an extra day during busy periods)
Responsibilities:
Picking & packing
Preparing goods for delivery
Delivering stock to various locations in London and the Southeast to Engineers
Unloading stock and checking items off from the delivery note
Loading and delivering company products in one of our company vans
Stock movement / rotation
Manual handling and heavy lifting daily (up to 20kgs)
Keeping all areas clean & tidy
Taking in chemical deliveries. Looking after the stores. All training supplied
Driving to London and doing deliveries
Satnav and company phone provided
Skills and experience:
Must be hard working, punctual and flexible
Experience working in a similar role
Excellent organisational skills
Full UK drivers’ licence and comfortable driving a van
