- Lloyd Recruitment Services are pleased to be working with a reputable design and manufacturing business based in the Lancing area who are currently in search of a Business Development Manager to join their team.
The main accountability of this role will be the promotion and profitable sales of the portfolio of products including equipment and consumables as well as its supporting service packages. The BDM role will engage and sell to new customers.
Duties:
Create, develop, and effectively communicate the market access strategy at both a regional and national level
Grow the company market share through establishing new, and building upon, existing relationships with key decision makers and promoting products & services
Always thinking outside of the box for new ways to work in partnership with key accounts and customers to offer a solution focussed proposition that benefits both parties whilst always considering how the partnership will enable the business to reach its aim to grow the market share and achieve set financial objectives
To effectively use all the sales tools, reporting systems and CRM
Support marketing by feeding back customer comments on products and services as well as new product developments and service enhancements
Responsible for proactively developing new markets and contracts and identifying, developing and securing new business opportunities
Support the Senior Commercial Team (UK) in all Business Development related activities
Identify new and complimentary products or services for new sectors
Requirements:
With Sales and key account experience, preferably Healthcare or MedTech field, you will be a highly motivated, energetic individual with a positive disposition
An excellent communicator with gravitas, that understands how to effectively balance various points of view, influence others, and find common ground that drives meaningful results, you will have the ability to build credibility quickly, tailor behaviours and sustain them within the organisation
This is an ever-changing role and your focus may change to suit the needs of both the company and the market, therefore we require an adaptable, tenacious and forward thinking Business Development Manager who is not afraid to question the norm and thrives on sharing best practice to achieve shared goals

Basic salary of up to £40K DOE
Uncapped commission with additional target trigger payments. For example, based on achieving sales of £1,000,000 you could earn £85,000 per annum
