Opportunity to work at two warehouse locations on an ad-hoc basis
The Role:
This is a varied role, serving customers. You will get involved in all the warehouse activities including, picking, managing stock control systems.
Key responsibilities:
Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
Sorting through stock
Moving supplies to storage areas
Picking and packing orders
Dealing with customers
Maintaining a clean and tidy working area and ensure that a good level of Health and Safety standards are maintained
Working to schedule to ensure on time delivery to customers
Opportunity to travel to other sites (within working hours and company van is provided)
Involves some working outside in the Yard at times
Requirements:
A full, clean driving licence
Previous warehouse experience
Happy with heavy lifting and manual handling
Good organisational and planning skills with proven track record of task prioritisation
Good problem-solving skills
Good understanding of customer requirements with proven track record in meeting customer expectations
Willingness to adopt flexible work patterns when required to meet business needs
Predominantly you will be based on the outskirts of East Grinstead. You will need to be a car driver as there will be the occasional requirement to assistant at other sites
