Our client is looking for an individual to join their Legal Team, to work on an ongoing temporary basis.
The ideal individual will be studying, or have studied a Law Degree, or would have gained experience working in a Legal / Claims or Compliance setting.
You will assist the team with all escalated complaints, claims and pre-action cases received from Solicitors and claims management companies. You will also assist in the proper management of legal risks, and seek to ensure compliance in line with company requirements including pre-action protocols, laws, regulations and internal governance.
Duties:
Managing Case Files
Corresponding with third parties, completing an analysis of the requests
Carrying out any necessary case analysis which will include gathering relevant documentation: data analysis, data entry, compiling responses and reporting reports.
The Individual:
Good IT skills will be required and an understanding of ‘the claim’ is required
Ideally a Legal qualification at Degree level or vocational equivalent; or a professional or vocational based higher education as a paralegal, claims handler, complaints handler, legal assistant or legal secretary
Understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules would be preferred
Good numeracy, literacy skills and IT skills are essential.
