Financial Reporting Manager

Our client is looking for a Qualified Financial Reporting Manager to join them on a contract basis, to cover a current secondment.
Leading and managing three established team members, you will be responsible for the continuous monitoring and reviewing of their work, whilst being responsible for all reporting aspects to the business and Stakeholders.
It is essential that the individual has an accountancy qualification, with previous financial reporting experience. Understanding and experience on Tax computing and accounting is also required as you will be required to manage and work alongside the Tax Manager.

  • Preparing and overseeing the submission of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting packages to parent company.
  • Managing month end/year-end close processes.
  • Assist the Financial Accounting Manager with preparation of the Group Statutory Accounts
  • Management of Pensions Accounting
  • Ensure capital allowance calculations are prepared
  • Manage the delivery of Tax services
  • Ensure overhead bank account and foreign currency bank accounts are reconciled
  • Maintaining compliance with internal and external auditing, as well as Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
  • Manage the Tax function (incorporating VAT, Corporation Tax and Deferred Tax, PAYE Settlement Agreements, Senior Accounting Officer requirements)
  • Performing investigations, financial analysis and special projects as required.
