- Lloyd Recruitment Services are pleased to be working with a reputable business in the East Grinstead area who are currently in search of a Service Desk Support to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.
Job purpose
To provide effective first line application support to company’s customer base with a view to efficient and swift incident resolution. You will handle internal requests as well as external customer queries regarding their products.

Responsibilities
- Supporting company-developed applications for a worldwide customer base
- Ensure all calls are answered, logged within the company's systems, and resolved or escalated appropriately
- Troubleshoot and provide recommended workarounds/fixes to problems
- Investigate and advise on customer implementations and rollout requirements
- Meet performance measures which contribute directly towards areas of user care, satisfaction, and quality
- Maintain company' customer database by keeping all call-related & customer demographic info up to date
- To work within the Information Security requirements and ISO Standards
- To complete quality-checking tasks, including customisations
- Manage new builds, upgrades, and customisation changes to the production servers
- Ensure that all work and communications are logged in our CRM system correctly
- Ensure all tasks have full details on issues they refer to & what investigations have taken place before escalating
- Work closely with the other departments to deliver effective solutions to customers
- Contribute and update new and existing documentation/processes to maintain their effectiveness
- Highlight efficiencies which could benefit the entire team
- Develop a proactive approach to solving customer issues, providing innovative and effective resolutions
- Take ownership of bespoke customer requirements including but not limited to, bespoke data imports, Management Information, and general output requirements
Candidate requirements
- Role requires flexibility in working hours to support global customers
- Strong academic record, with a focus on English and maths
- An excellent communicator able to discuss technical issues to a varying audience
- Able to deal with high pressure, high stress environments
- A proactive and effective approach to solving customer issues, and willingness to learn and develop further
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word)
- Ideally you would have
- Windows server administration and management, data protection awareness
- SQL knowledge
- HTML, IIS, SCORM, AICC, LMS, Single Sign On, CSS
