- Lloyd Recruitment Services are pleased to be working with a reputable business in the East Grinstead area who are currently in search of a Service Desk Support to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.
Job purpose
To provide effective first line application support to company’s customer base with a view to efficient and swift incident resolution. You will handle internal requests as well as external customer queries regarding their products.

Responsibilities
Supporting company-developed applications for a worldwide customer base
Ensure all calls are answered, logged within the company's systems, and resolved or escalated appropriately
Troubleshoot and provide recommended workarounds/fixes to problems
Investigate and advise on customer implementations and rollout requirements
Meet performance measures which contribute directly towards areas of user care, satisfaction, and quality
Maintain company' customer database by keeping all call-related & customer demographic info up to date
To work within the Information Security requirements and ISO Standards
To complete quality-checking tasks, including customisations
Manage new builds, upgrades, and customisation changes to the production servers
Ensure that all work and communications are logged in our CRM system correctly
Ensure all tasks have full details on issues they refer to & what investigations have taken place before escalating
Work closely with the other departments to deliver effective solutions to customers
Contribute and update new and existing documentation/processes to maintain their effectiveness
Highlight efficiencies which could benefit the entire team
Develop a proactive approach to solving customer issues, providing innovative and effective resolutions
Take ownership of bespoke customer requirements including but not limited to, bespoke data imports, Management Information, and general output requirements
Candidate requirements
Role requires flexibility in working hours to support global customers
Strong academic record, with a focus on English and maths
An excellent communicator able to discuss technical issues to a varying audience
Able to deal with high pressure, high stress environments
A proactive and effective approach to solving customer issues, and willingness to learn and develop further
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word)
Ideally you would have
Windows server administration and management, data protection awareness
SQL knowledge
HTML, IIS, SCORM, AICC, LMS, Single Sign On, CSS
