- Lloyd Recruitment Services are currently working with a reputable business in the East Grinstead area who are currently in search of an Events Executive on a 12 month FTC basis.
Purpose of job:
Developing and arranging Events/Activities at Pop-up events, Festivals and other Partner Events that maximise opportunities for customer value, retention and acquisition. To co-ordinate all administrative and customer relations/experience of outdoor events, including marketing liaison. Support for the companies’ Activities and Events will include administration of customer enquiries, logistics and feedback, including auditing and reconciliation for Partners, Sponsors and Suppliers. Provide further administrative and logistics support to the Senior Events Manager and team as required.
Duties:
- Supervise all activities in relation to the support of Pop-up events, festivals and other Events. Be the main point of contact for all parties and ensure that business partners are included in all arrangements affecting both financial (sponsorship) and non-financial (competitions/gifts) obligations.
- Research and review new activities and opportunities that support bookings for the outdoor Events. Ensure that all enquiries are dealt with in a timely manner.
- Develop effective relationships with suppliers and agencies in support of delivering activities within budget and on time
- Provide analysis and feedback on the feasibility of each event and produce and maintain revenue and expenditure budgets for each event. Ensure that appropriate reports and feedback are provided regularly
- Develop marketing and promotion collateral for all activities/events in conjunction with the wider marketing team, ensuring that all deadlines are met and stakeholder requirements are included within the process.
Essential Skills & Experience Required:
- Significant events experience in a customer-centric commercial environment (ideally B2C and B2B)
- Proven ability and confidence to deliver outstanding Activities and Events on time and within budget
- Exposure and understanding of contractor management and event booking systems
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Excellent administrative skills
- Excellent customer relationship skills
- Comfortable working as part of a team as well as on their own initiative
- Able to manage multiple work streams and prioritise effectively to ensure deadlines are met
- Positive and enthusiastic with a can-do attitude
- Ability to create strong relationships with external business partners, sponsors and suppliers
- Degree, or significant experience in Event support development and logistics
- Professional Event and/or Marketing qualification is desirable
