Location: Croydon
Lloyd Recruitment Services are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a highly reputed, well established, and professional financial services organisation that seek a Senior Finance Assistant to join their small, friendly team, where they will overseas the operation of the purchase, sales and general ledgers, support the Management Accountant with reporting and other undertake other ad hoc accounting duties.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
Monthly bank reconciliations
Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Creating and posting monthly journals
Updating fixed asset schedules
Processing the monthly payroll including statutory returns
Assisting with preparation of VAT returns
Ensuring credit control is maintained to a high standard
Oversees the inputting of invoices ensuring the coding is correct
Customer and supplier reconciliations as and when required
Preparation of monthly Management Accounts
Preparation of other management information as required
Assistance with regulatory returns
Assist with the role out of new systems and processes
Qualifications, experience, and skills required:
ACCA/CIMA part-qualified
Good knowledge of Sage 200, Excel, Word and Outlook
Experience within an accounting department including purchase, sales and nominal ledger duties
Deadline driven with good attention to detail
Excellent multitasker with good communication and time management skills
Flexible approach and a ‘can do’ attitude
Team player who wants to learn and develop professionally
