Our client is linked to the financial sector, and their clients are internationally recognised names from the pension, investment and banking worlds.
You’ll be keen to work in a multi-currency environment as an account assistant, joining an established team of 4. With support from the team and the manager, they’ll soon have you up and running in this newly created role.
Ideally you’ll have already gained some experience of working in a company accounts or finance team before, or maybe some work experience combined with a finance qualification.
The Role:
Accurately recording and reconciling bank transactions
Ensure that financial reporting is accurate and timely.
Keep track of procedures and other material that will help you with your day-to-day tasks.
Recording of invoices, credit card transactions and expense claims
Making payments as and when required
Completing any other duties as an when required
Skills:
Office 365 and Office applications, i.e. Word, Excel etc.
The ability to use your own initiative, as well as work well within a team
Analytical thinking and attention to detail
Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity
Able to think objectively and demonstrate sound judgement
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Organisational and facilitation skills
Thrive in high-pressure situations and have the ability to adapt to change
Please be aware, whilst this role is WFH, our client is located near Gatwick Airport and you will be required to visit the office on a rota basis 1-2 days every 6 weeks to help out with general office tasks such as post, etc..
