- Lloyd Recruitment Services are pleased to be working with an independent, family run business based in Crawley who are currently looking for a Driver to join their team on a fulltime permanent basis.
The role
As the Driver you will be responsible for goods in from the warehouse, picking and packing of products as well as delivering customer orders safely and on time.
This role is a dual role where you will be providing support to the warehouse and fulfilment teams as well as delivering orders to customers.
Responsibilities:
Collecting stock from our warehouse and ensuring that all customer orders are complete
Packing the goods in the delivery vehicle in an organised manner that matched the order in which the deliveries will be made
Planning the shortest and best routes to customers
Using GPS navigation apps
Unloading packages at the destination
Delivering products that are in good condition to customers
Interacting with clients in a friendly and professional manner
Key skills / experience:
Previous proven experience as a Driver
Valid, clean drivers licence required (must have held this for at least 2 years)
Familiarity with GPS devices
The ability to work well with others – A team player
A polite and professional disposition
Excellent verbal communication skills - A good level if written and spoken English
