- Lloyd Recruitment Services are pleased to be working with a reputable organisation in the East Grinstead area who are currently in search of a Marketing Data and Insights Analyst on a full-time permanent basis.
Purpose of job:
Responsible for the gathering, organising and analysing data from all relevant internal and external data sources to enable the department to make data driven decisions resulting in improved performance and ROI.
You will be the go-to person for the creation of analytics and insight dashboards that will deliver simple and easy to understand findings to all key stakeholders, to improve the overall quality of our websites and the effectiveness of our lead generating campaigns.
Key Tasks/Accountabilities:
Working closely with the Manager to create a joined-up view of performance, what's working, what's not and provide recommendations to key stakeholders to optimise further.
Working with the Manager and product owners, to analyse and interpret website user behaviour, identifying trends and areas of concern which can then be improved to deliver a best-in-class customer experience across all channels
Responsible for analysing and reporting the results (successes/failures/surprises) of improvements to the website's page launches as well as campaigns and ultimately, the ROI to the manager.
Be responsible for providing qualitative and quantitative analysis, insights and recommendations to key stakeholders to help support and influence future campaign planning and new product development business cases
Using your expertise and the company’s suite of analytical tools to deliver website performance forecast updates to key stakeholders, which will then feed into the wider budget planning process.
Responsible for the creation and maintenance of market and competitor research then present findings to leaders in the business to help shape the overall strategy.
Working with the Manager to analyse and interpret multiple data sources to better understand the customer journey and produce actionable insights that can be used to improve the online customer experience and develop a more personalised service.
Working with a portfolio of digital marketing agencies, be responsible internally for setting up and managing accurate and consistent reporting for the marketing department through creation of dashboards and various automated reports
Be responsible for the management of Google Tag Manager (GTM) containers and the implementation of all analytic tracking requirements
Essential Skills & Experience Required:
Educated to Degree level or equivalent
Extensive experience working with Google Analytics (essential), Google AdWords, Google Tag Manager, Firebase and Data Studio for reporting / dashboarding
Strong numerical and analytical skills essential with an ability to combine and interpret high volumes of data from multiple sources
Excellent understanding of UX and online user behaviour
Experience in delivering web/app projects
Must be strategic, analytical, and have strong communication skills, as well as being able to relay technical information/data/results to non-technical team members
Be passionate about digital best practices, trends and developments and be a digital champion and ‘go-to’ person when it comes to how an organisation uses digital analysis for successful business growth
Must be a team player, while also being comfortable working on their own initiative
Confident in communicating across departments and teams, and work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise tasks and manage time effectively to ensure all deadlines are met
Confident working in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable and confident when presenting
Experience of working with EPiServer CMS and Umbraco is an advantage
