Lloyd Recruitment Services are pleased to be working with a reputable business in the East Grinstead area who are currently in search of Customer Service Assistants on a temporary basis over the summer.
Purpose of job:
To promote and sell a range of services and products, handle customer enquiries and resolve complaints to the required standards. Provide excellent customer service in relation to all product areas via Inbound calls and outbound calls.
Key Tasks/Accountabilities:
Answer calls in an efficient and timely manner, giving customers an optimal service and experience
To promote and sell to customers all the company’s services ensuring compliance with all standards
To attend coaching and monitoring feedback sessions
Attend Team Meetings as and when required
Follow daily schedule as provided by Resources
Ensure you are aware and take ownership of following correct rota
Undertake, as required, additional learning activity to develop product knowledge to meet operational requirements
Provide a high-level of customer advice and information service to customers and potential customers, in accordance with the company’s standards and strategic goals, processing and escalating calls as necessary to ensure first time resolution wherever possible
Support and assist colleagues through sharing of knowledge and experience in a “Buddy” environment to ensure a quality service to customers’ is maintained
Take ownership of own personal development, maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of products, services, systems and procedures necessary to carry out the role
Essential Skills & Experience Preferred:
Previous experience of customer service/care
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to demonstrate a confident, empathetic approach to customer service including investigation, negotiation and product promotion via a variety of channels
Ability to adapt to new systems/change/procedures as required
What’s in it for you?
Usually working hours are 35 hours per week (5 day week, Monday – Friday)
Shifts are 7 hours per day between the hours of 8:45am – 6pm
Consideration will be given to candidates who are seeking 9am – 3pm Monday – Friday)
Hourly rate of £11 per hour
Role is ideally due to commence on 9th May and go on until 31st August
