- Lloyd Recruitment Services are currently working with a well-established, family run firm of Chartered Accountants based on the outskirts of East Grinstead.
Our client is looking for a Personal Taxation Manager to join their team on a permanent part-time basis.
As the Personal Taxation Manager, you will be a self-starter able to demonstrate broad and strong technical tax knowledge. The ideal candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills and be confident at building relationships with a wide variety of individuals. Problem solving is a must and the as the Personal Taxation Manager, you will be expected to use your commercial acumen in all situations to identify issues and walk to resolve them in a timely and efficient manner.

Computer literacy, along with the ability to work flexibly among different accounting software is essential.
This is a central role within the company, building and maintaining our Personal Tax advisory services to UK based Clients.
The Personal Taxation Manager will be responsible for delivering a high-quality compliance service whilst also focusing on leading a wide range of tax planning and project work. The role is perfect for someone with a wealth of experience looking to scale down their hours to part-time.
PersonalTaxation Manager key responsibilities
Tax compliance work
Reconciling tax statements and PAYE coding notices
Tax planning work with salaries to Limited Companies
Rental accounts and calculations; Tax advice to cover, Capital Gains Tax and Calculations (CGT), Residency and non-residency, Inheritance Tax (IHT)
Planning work to support the Directors
Key point of Contact for HMRC working closely with them to resolve issues, queries and appeals in relation to tax issues on behalf of Clients
General office duties
Undertake training, as and when required
Experience / skills
3+ years’ experience
An in-depth knowledge of Capital Gains Tax and Calculations (CGT)
A broad understanding of Inheritance Tax (IHT)
Confidence working in a team environment
Strong communicator, able to build long-term relationships and trust with Clients
Flexible and happy to take on a challenge
ACA or CTA or equivalent professional qualification or qualified by experience
