- Lloyd Recruitment Services are pleased to be working with an independent, family run business based in Crawley who are currently looking for a Senior Purchasing Executive to join their team on a fulltime permanent basis.
This is a great opportunity for a Senior Purchasing Executive to work alongside the Purchasing Team with a focused on developing a stronger relationship between the data and the purchasing teams. The role will report into the Logistics Manager.

Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm
The Role
Reporting into the Logistics Manager, the position will focus on the day to day purchasing requirements of over 6,000 SKUs across multiple suppliers. The Senior Purchasing Executive’s main objective is to ensure our Customer Service and Warehouse teams can fulfil the orders for the customers.
The secondary objective is to ensure we are ordering stock from the suppliers who can guarantee the best price but also consistency and reliability. The successful candidate will need to build strong working relationships with suppliers.
Key responsibilities:
Analysis of stock movement trends
Monthly ordering
Monitoring of inventory controls
Daily top up ordering
Negotiation and ongoing relationship management with suppliers
Management of reports and analysis

Skills and experience:
Previous purchasing and inventory management experience
Advanced user of Excel
Exceptional written and verbal communications
Experience working with a diverse range of products
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills

Experience of working closely with customer services and warehousing
