Description
Lloyd Recruitment Services are pleased to be working with an award-winning professional services firm in the Crawley area who are in search on an experienced and approachable IT Trainer to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.

 

The role is based in Crawley, but training will also need to be delivered in their offices across the Southeast, as well as remotely.

 

Job purpose

 

Develop and deliver IT user training for numerous software systems including:



  • Practice and Case Management System


  • Document Management System


  • Microsoft Office


  • Other software


 

The ideal candidate will work with stakeholders and users to analyse and define business requirements and fulfil requirements via use of software applications and online IT services.

Responsibilities and duties

 



  • Run group and individual training sessions for new and existing IT systems, either remotely or in-person


  • Develop and maintain IT training materials in a range of formats, including user guides, e-learning, interactive user agents (Kryon), and video


  • Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new systems


  • Work with stakeholders across the business to analyse and define ‘best practice’ use of software applications


  • Work directly with users and work with the Head of IT to analyse business and client challenges and opportunities and resolve through production of training courses and/or documentation/faq’s


  • Address ‘how to’ user queries around IT application use when escalated by the IT Helpdesk


  • Responsible for planning and running all new joiner central inductions, covering IT systems training and other centralised sessions as required. Following up with all new joiners to ensure they are competent in their use of our systems and offering refresher training as necessary


  • Identify training needs resulting from software upgrades and changes and create a training and/or communication approach to ensure user adoption


  • Carry out relevant administrative duties


 

Knowledge, skills and experience required

 



  • Experience within a dedicated IT training role, ideally within a professional services firm


  • Delivering IT Training in a variety of different environments, such as one-to-one, group sessions and remote sessions, to all levels of candidate


  • The ability to thoroughly learn new software applications, either through provided training or through independent learning and research


  • Experience using e-learning systems to deliver on-demand user IT training


  • Strong organisational skills


  • Excellent IT applications skills, in particular Microsoft Office


  • Experience with Document and Case Management systems


  • Aderant and/or iManage experience would be particularly beneficial


  • Experience with other applications including Bighand, Isokon and Kutana Kappris would be advantageous


  • A sound knowledge of cyber security


  • Enthusiastic, motivational, with a proactive ‘can do’ approach


  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment


  • Excellent people and communication skills


  • Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team
