- Lloyd Recruitment Services are pleased to be working with a leading company based in East Grinstead who are currently in search of a Receptionist for circa 4 – 6 weeks.
Working as part of a friendly professional team, reporting to the Coordinator, this role is a key position and will suit an experienced administrator with strong communication and inter-personal skills, able to deal with people from all backgrounds, someone who enjoys working in a team and also independently, who can manage staff, is highly organised, calm and professional, and who can offer a pro-active approach.
Role summary
Ensure the smooth and successful running of the business
Support the team of supervisors
Welcome and refer visitors to the relevant department/individual
Ensure the reception area and meeting rooms are kept tidy at all times
Undertake any other reasonable task, as allocated by the management team
The post holder is expected to adopt a flexible approach to working in ensuring that duties are carried out to the highest possible standard and in compliance with all relevant policies and codes
Skills / Experience
This position will suit a candidate with a calm, professional, organised, and methodical disposition. With either administrative or office or reception experience, you will be educated to A Level standard, equivalent, or above and demonstrate the following skills and aptitudes:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Computer literate – good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365: Excel, Word, Teams and Outlook
Experience of data entry and analysis, appointment or booking systems
Ability to prioritise, to record and relay information accurately
To work independently or with limited supervision and as part of a team
To problem solve and work pro-actively
The role will predominantly provide reception support, switchboard operation and offer effective and professional service for all visitors
This is an ongoing temporary role to start ASAP and will be on going for 4 – 6 weeks
£10 - £11 per hour DOE
On-site parking
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 08:45 – 5:15 with occasional Saturday working
