- Lloyd Recruitment Services are pleased to be working with a reputable business on the outskirts of Uckfield who are currently in search of an Executive Assistant to join their team on a full time permanent basis.
Overall Job Purpose
Support the President and work closely with executive management to make the best use of their time with administrative and secretarial tasks. Type, compile and prepare reports, presentations and correspondence. Prepare meeting agendas and take minutes.
Arrange travel, visa administration, hotel accommodation & logistics with meet & greet transfers for visitors.
Organise & manage events by liaising with hotels & suppliers, negotiating best preferential annual contracts and help to run fundraising projects, organise office seasonal parties and team building events. Comply with policies & procedures by using preferred suppliers.
Work within a capacity of any other additional duties as required by the line manager or as requested.
Liaise with staff at all levels.

Book hotels and travel for President and also Senior Executive Team
Arrange logistics such as visas, Covid testing etc.

Research & present information for a specific purpose
Any other additional work, responsibilities and duties for the Company or any Group Company within the role holder’s capacity in accordance with their skills and capabilities
Essential Criteria (education, skills, experience, abilities)
Previous experience working as an Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant
GCSE English and Mathematics (or equivalent)
Relevant experience and secretarial and administrative knowledge
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Advanced level in MS Office Applications
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Good organisational and time management skills
Ability to work on your own initiative
Integrity, honesty and reliability
Attention to detail
Flexibility and adaptability to juggle a range of different tasks
To be able to work extra hours to meet deadlines
Discretion is imperative and understanding of confidentiality issues
Able to ensure that internal policies & procedures are complied with
Previous experience of supporting at Chief Executive/Director level
A proactive and driven self-starter
Desirable Criteria
Ability to be flexible in workload
Qualification in Administration, Business Management or Secretarial studies

Salary of £30K - £35K depending on experience
Working hours: 8.30 – 17.00 with 45 min for lunch, shorter day on Friday – 8.30 – 15.45 (Some flexibility to work outside these hours on occasion will be needed)
