- Lloyd Recruitment Services are pleased to be working with a reputable business in the East Grinstead area who are currently in search of an Internal Communications Executive to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.
Purpose of job: With the support of the Internal communications and Benefits Manager use your imagination, resourcefulness and technical capability to create engaging and inspiring communications to support the company’s internal communications strategy.
Duties
Support the Internal Communications and Benefits Manager in the delivery of the annual internal communications plan
Support with the design, development and delivery of engaging internal communications to the target audience
Utilising technical skills to create and support the production of communication correspondence including the employee newsletter, presentations, meetings, videos, webinars, blogs, social media feeds, briefings, bulletins and case studies
Develop an understanding of and share ideas for new tools, communication methods and technologies to improve the delivery of employee communications
Support initiatives to improve companywide employee engagement by developing creative campaigns and promotional activities to support the company’s strategic vision, goals, values and key areas of focus
Conduct research and analysis to contribute to the employee engagement strategy, including supporting the management of the company’s range of Benefits, the wellbeing program and employee reward and recognition schemes
Support the maintenance of interactive communication forums to encourage employee engagement
Support the Internal Communications and Benefits Manager with internal events such as end of year communications
Support the health and wellbeing initiatives
Working with the Internal Communications Manager, ensure that Compensation and Benefits programs, policies and procedures are understood and easily accessible.
Essential Skills & Experience Required:
Previous experience in marketing, event coordination or campaign management
Ability to demonstrate creative writing skills, verbal communication and presentation skills
Strong editorial and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail
Experience of working with internal communication platforms including Google, digital newsletter software i.e. PageTiger, data tools i.e. bitly and social media
Ability to build relationships and the confidence and credibility to represent Internal communications across the business
Flexible, calm approach with the ability to work effectively under pressure
A team player who builds rapport and is willing to participate in a broad range of tasks and activities
Good work ethic and willingness to learn.
