- Description
- Our client, an established and growing bank are looking to strengthen their compliance team and are looking for an experienced Compliance Officer.
** Salary £40k - £60k ** Central London Location ** 5% Pensions ** Annual Bonus ** Hybrid Working in Place **
Reporting directly to the Compliance & Data Protection Manager, the successful individual will be required to perform Compliance Risk Assessments and will be the second in line to oversee the banks continuous compliance in line with application laws, regulations and internal policies.
Duties:
Performing compliance risk assessments
Second line oversight of laws, regulations and policies
Developing and implementing a Compliance Monitoring Programme
Issuing compliance review reports
Reporting key findings from compliance reviews to the relevant governance committees
Tracking regulatory communications
Assisting the CCO and the Compliance Managers
Performing administrative tasks relating to the compliance department
Developing, reviewing and updating the policies, procedures and other governance documents
Compile monthly, quarterly / annual MI reports
Experience:
Industry experience gained in Banking or the Financial Services industries
Previous compliance experience
Knowledge of Regulatory Framework
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Fully IT proficient
