Are you available to cover a 9 –12 month maternity leave contract (possibility of being extended)?
Do you live within a sensible commute of the Bedford, Priory Country Park area?
Currently hold or be able to pass an Enhanced DBS check – valid within the last 12 months?
Can you commit to a 37.5 hour working week (Mon-Fri)?
Main Purpose of The Job
You’ll be providing confidential and professional administrative support to the Managing Director.
Can you include amongst your experience, the sound judgement, discretion and initiative needed to work autonomously and efficiently at this level.?
Key Tasks
Ensure regular monitoring of emails and, under delegated authority, respond appropriately
Manage the diary and co-ordinate meetings, internally and externally, to ensure most effective use of time
Support the Managing Director on preparation for company Exco meetings
Organise travel and accommodation arrangements for Managing Director
Support and coordinate meetings of the SLT and other working groups compiling agendas and distributing relevant information within required timescales
Monitor and maintain accurate records of direct reports to the Managing Director
Provide administrative support in the delivery of projects & initiatives
Create presentation slide decks and board reports as required
Maintain a strong working relationship with key stakeholders across departments
Skills, Knowledge & Experience Required
Experience in providing EA support to executives and senior leaders
Experience in situations requiring the highest level of discretion and confidentiality
Advanced skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Advanced skills in report writing and producing presentations
Excellent organisational and planning skills
Highly skilled in communication both written and verbal
Problem analysis and problem solving skills
Knowledge of standard office administrative practices and procedures
Knowledge and understanding of the General Data Protection Regulations

This role will be a mix of home working and attendance at an office, may need to travel from time to time to different sites across the Technology business to attend meetings.
