- Lloyd Recruitment Services are pleased to be working with a reputable business based in East Grinstead who are currently in search of an Ecommerce Executive to join the team on a full time permanent basis.
Purpose of job:
Responsible for the deployment and maintenance of the E-commerce activities to achieve forecast revenue targets across digital channels. Responsible for the daily activities of the ecommerce area, liaising with agencies and colleagues to ensure the operation is running smoothly, including customer experience, usability and performance reporting.
Key Tasks/Accountabilities:
Responsible for the routine deployment of all ecommerce activities and the day to day upkeep of customer services through all digital channels in line with departmental objectives and revenue targets
You will project manage E-commerce developments, put into practice online marketing initiatives, identify customer behaviours by analysing data and suggest enhancements based on the results as well as account managing the web partners and affiliates, where appropriate
Your role will also require you to deal with external clients and partners at times as well as write content for the business’ ecommerce platforms
Responsibility for the day to day delivery of customer experience, conversion process and provision of customer services through all digital channels (E.G: Desktop, Tablet, Mobile and Apps)
Responsible for daily conversion reports across all club products
Undertake regular competitor analysis ensuring a ‘best in class’ user experience is maintained
Provide direct support for internal departments and external partners that require operational knowledge of ecommerce or digital technologies
Ensure that all quality standards, legal compliance and regulated procedures which impact online transactions are all properly documented and tracked for audit purposes
Essential Skills & Experience Required:
Ideally a recognised digital qualification
A positive attitude and strong willingness to learn and develop
Proven experience in an insight driven ecommerce role in a business to consumer marketing environment. Travel and/or outdoor leisure market experience an advantage
Good analytical and problem solving skills
Experience of website optimisation, data analysis and evaluation an advantage
Working knowledge of internet development technologies, SEO and digital channel device applications
Knowledge of the current internet industry and current best practice standards
Able to manage multiple work streams and prioritise effectively to ensure deadlines are met
