- Lloyd Recruitment Services are pleased to be working with a reputable business based in the East Grinstead who are currently in search of Classified Advertising Sales Executive on a 6 month FTC.
The team is responsible for multi-million £ revenue generation through print and digital advertising, strategic partnerships, member offers/shop, sponsorship, competitions, prizes, as well as other commercial opportunities within published annual guides (UK and overseas).
You will primarily be selling advertising directly to relevant businesses within the industry.
This is an office-based role requiring outbound sales through telephone and email channels.
There will be a requirement to attend appropriate trade fairs and events away from the office/ home on occasion.
Key Tasks/Accountabilities:
Responsibility for selling advertising space for a market leading membership magazine
You will be expected to achieve and exceed personal revenue targets
Build relationships with new and existing clients to add long term mutual benefit, identifying ways to actively meet their advertising needs and grow revenue
Support opportunities to grow advertising revenue through new and existing channels and markets
Contribute to the smooth and efficient management of the advertising sales process
Be responsible for delivery of artwork to specification and in a timely manner
Essential Skills & Experience Required:
Previous sales experience with demonstrable negotiation skills
Self-motivated, willing to go above and beyond in order to deliver revenue targets
Credible and consistent approach with a proven ability to build rapport with customers
Results driven with good time management, planning and organisational skills.
Excellent communication skills, verbal, written and presentation with proven attention to detail
Proactive and able to think logically, quickly, objectively and creatively
Comfortable working under pressure and on multiple projects simultaneously
Commitment and enthusiasm to drive through change
Team player able to work within a multi-disciplined team
Good understanding of financial performance drivers
Overnight stays at major events required from time to time
Preferred knowledge Google G Suite
Knowledge of marketing (desired, not essential)
