Lloyd Recruitment Services are pleased to be working with a reputable business based in the East Grinstead who are currently in search of Classified Advertising Sales Executive on a 6 month FTC.
The team is responsible for multi-million £ revenue generation through print and digital advertising, strategic partnerships, member offers/shop, sponsorship, competitions, prizes, as well as other commercial opportunities within published annual guides (UK and overseas).
You will primarily be selling advertising directly to relevant businesses within the industry.
This is an office-based role requiring outbound sales through telephone and email channels.
There will be a requirement to attend appropriate trade fairs and events away from the office/ home on occasion.
Key Tasks/Accountabilities:
  • Responsibility for selling advertising space for a market leading membership magazine
  • You will be expected to achieve and exceed personal revenue targets
  • Build relationships with new and existing clients to add long term mutual benefit, identifying ways to actively meet their advertising needs and grow revenue
  • Support opportunities to grow advertising revenue through new and existing channels and markets
  • Contribute to the smooth and efficient management of the advertising sales process
  • Be responsible for delivery of artwork to specification and in a timely manner
Essential Skills & Experience Required:
  • Previous sales experience with demonstrable negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated, willing to go above and beyond in order to deliver revenue targets
  • Credible and consistent approach with a proven ability to build rapport with customers
  • Results driven with good time management, planning and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal, written and presentation with proven attention to detail
  • Proactive and able to think logically, quickly, objectively and creatively
  • Comfortable working under pressure and on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Commitment and enthusiasm to drive through change
  • Team player able to work within a multi-disciplined team
  • Good understanding of financial performance drivers
  • Overnight stays at major events required from time to time
  • Preferred knowledge Google G Suite
  • Knowledge of marketing (desired, not essential)
