- Lloyd Recruitment Services are pleased to be working with a reputable business based in the East Grinstead who are currently in search of a Digital Magazine Executive (Part time - 21 hours per week) for a 12 month FTC.
Purpose of job:
To support the Deputy Multi Channel Magazine Editor and the team with the scheduled and efficient production of the company magazine in multi-channel formats
Key Tasks/Accountabilities:
Working closely with the Magazine and Marketing teams, write, edit, publish and repurpose engaging and inspiring digital versions of the company Magazine, including as an app and blog, to promote the touring, the company, its products, services and the brand
Working closely with the Magazine and Commercial teams, publish the digital magazine to schedule and budget using the chosen software, with enhanced content and advertising
Source and generate inspiring and engaging content for multi-channel use, including photography and video, and work closely with colleagues to take advantage of opportunities to use content in other channels, such as on the website or via social media
Ensure the digital magazine is promoted to customers via all relevant channels, and that all information required for the ABC audit is available, maintained and filed
Assist with editing, sub-editing, proofreading, and publishing (including obtaining approval and compliance) of other content where necessary, including the print magazine and marketing brochures, digital publications, website and email copy, RSS, SMS and alerts
Ensure all content meets the company’s brand and editorial guidelines, reflecting the company’s high / consistent standards of design and production
Proactively influence the continuous improvement of processes, content, publications, and audience engagement to enhance outcomes
Essential Skills & Experience Required:
Experience of using Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail with a good eye for layout and design
Experience of copywriting and publishing, including creating, reusing and repurposing multi-channel content
Experience of digital publication software, CMS and Photoshop. Knowledge of InDesign or video production and editing a bonus
Able to participate and contribute as a team player, while also being able to work on your own initiative
Able to think creatively, communicate effectively across functions and teams, and work collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve deadlines and the best results
Able to manage multiple projects and tasks, and prioritise effectively to meet deadlines.
