- Lloyd Recruitment Services are pleased to be working with a reputable business in the Uckfield area who are currently in search of a Product & Marketing Director to join their team.
Overall Job Purpose
As part of its expansion, this business is looking to unite its product development and Marketing department under a single leadership in order to maximise its customer centric approach and further improve its market impact.
The Product and Marketing Director will collect valuable market intelligence, monitor the competitive landscape and constantly re-evaluate customer and end users’ requirements.
The Product & Marketing Director will define the product strategy and roadmap and work closely with the R&D department to support its execution. They will establish the marketing strategy and ensure its effectiveness and execution within the approved budget.
The Product & Marketing Director will especially focus on lead generation and strengthening the company’s image and brand name.
Main responsibilities
Product Management
Overall responsibility for the existing product range - Design, Functionality, Quality, Reliability
Product life cycle management - Adapting, Modifying, Discontinuing
Product specialist / support
Establish market needs, technology trends, competitor landscape
Define product road map
Propose new product developments
Project manage execution of product roadmap
Patent Management
Product documentation
New product launch
Marketing
Marketing Plan
Marketing Budget
Marketing literatures - Brochures, PDS, Guides
Marketing tools - Videos, 3D Configurator, References and picture library
Web Presence - Website & SEO o Intranet & Partner portals
Social Media Presence - Strategy – Content creation/distribution - Lead generation / optimisation
PR - Editorial content, Press Releases
Internal Communication
Exhibitions
Product launches & market segment events - Conceptualisation, organisation, packaging
Performance Management - KPIs and success factors for core marketing activities - Lead tracking activities
Experience
Essential
Extensive experience (5 years minimum) in leading a product management team
Extensive experience as marketing manager (5 years minimum)
Management of multisite experienced professionals under a strong team spirit
Analytical with ability to design and execute strategic plans
Capacity to drive and coordinate multiple internal and external stakeholders
Capacity to transfer market requirement into comprehensive product specifications
Ability to monitor technology trends and their potential application in the product environment Capacity to take strategic business decisions and plan for their impact
Highly Structured and organised
Capacity to manage projects timeline and costs
Proven experience in event organisation
Deep knowledge and understanding of online marketing
Strong understanding of sales process and ability to define marketing tools to support it
Design flair
Desirable
Experience in SaaS or PaaS and / or other recurring revenue products creation and management
Proven track record in the development of digital marketing tools
Additional languages (French, Spanish)

Hours of 8:30 – 5pm Mon – Thurs and 8:30 – 3:45pm on a Friday
