Procurement and Risk Analyst Designate

 

Mon to Fri ** 8.30-5pm ** Performance Related Bonus ** 25 days holiday ** Group Personal Pension Scheme ** Life Assurance ** PMI **

 

You’ll be responsible forensure vehicle procurement and remarketing administration is completed accurately and in a timely manner and to provide proactive support to the business in relation to department responsibilities.

 

 

Responsibilities of the role:

 

Vehicle Procurement



  • To process all requests regarding vehicle availability, delivery progress options pricing, demonstration requests, daily reports and general enquiries.


  • To raise vehicle orders, ensuring all relevant information is sent to the vehicle suppliers.


  • To progress vehicles on order to ensure timely receipt of stock details and prompt delivery to the customer.


  • To liaise with the Account Management team and suppliers to ensure vehicles are delivered to all parties’ satisfaction.


  • To provide support to the Business Development and Account Management teams regarding client queries and quotes from dealers.


  • To monitor supplier performance and report any issues to the Head of Procurement & Risk, attending review meetings with vehicle suppliers as required.


  • To process related invoices and compile reports as required.


  • To manage the order process between internal and external suppliers following department processes.




Remarketing



  • To assist with and support the administrative process relating to the disposal of vehicles.


  • To liaise with the Account Management team regarding ‘end of contract’ vehicles.


  • To liaise with appointed assessors regarding ‘end of contract’ vehicle assessments.


  • To liaise with company suppliers and appointed collection agents regarding ‘end of contract’ collections.


  • To liaise with appointed auction houses regarding vehicle disposals and ‘end of contract’ repairs.


  • To process related invoices.


  • To update the Fleetware system and all relevant files with vehicle disposal detail.




Pricing



  • To update and maintain the company’s vehicle databases, which include the Service Maintenance and Repair system, and to assess the resultant output.


  • To ensure that all vehicles on the system have a residual value (RV) either from override values or via benchmarking. To highlight anomalies to PM in a timely manner and provide suitable reporting.


  • To process manufacturer vehicle pricing data updates on a regular basis, and prepare communications of the changes that effect the day-to-day operation of the business.


  • To maintain the pricing within the quotation system for standard discount and customer specific manufacturer discounts, and any option discounts that may be available.


  • Undertaking New Business Tender Quoting, starting from setting up the client to benchmarking the Residual Values and SMR Budgets. As well as submitting the final pricing sheet as required by the tender. Making sure that all the tender requirements are met to best possible understanding.

  • To deal with any concerns or issues that may arise, implementing preventative improvements.


  • To attend and participate in such training courses as deemed necessary.


  • To carry out any duties deemed reasonable over and above standard duties including, deputising in other roles in periods of absence.
