We are on the hunt for an experienced Data and Reports Analyst, to join one of our longstanding clients.
You will be the knowledge expert of reporting information sources; to maintain and improve the company’s data and reporting capabilities. You will also design, develop and document reports and processes and assist with the delivery of projects, as well as ad-hoc data and reporting developments for the business as a whole.
Responsibilities of this role:
Maintenance and development of the company’s Business Objects data warehouse and associated reporting, using WEBI and Crystal Reports.
Ensuring continuity and quality of data received from third party systems.
Improving data quality by working with other departments throughout the business.
Administration and/or co-ordination of software upgrades and test cycles.
Creation of documentation linked to working processes and report specifications.
Provide training to internal users on data and reporting tools used across the business.
Supporting the availability of accurate live data via online services.
General
To maintain a professional attitude, building and maintaining relationships with internal customers and external suppliers.
Work in an efficient, orderly and timely fashion, ensuring tasks are achieved within set time-scales.
Ensure escalation to management of issues that impact on business continuity and data security.
To carry out any duties deemed reasonable over and above standard duties including, deputising in other roles in periods of absence.
