Lloyd Recruitments Services are pleased to be working with an independent privately owned Technology company who are looking to recruit a Technical Sales Manager to join their expanding team.

The role:
Building long lasting client rapport to a wide customer base (B2B & B2C)
First point of contact for customer sales enquires on a variety of app-based products
Resolving technical email & telephone enquiries from customers and end users. This will include support regarding product and app use
To optimise sales and provide customer care by promoting the Company’s products and services to clients, specifiers, and end users
This role is a mixture of after sales support and attending client meeting across the SE to demonstrate company products and services
Formulate and introduce structured business development plans ultimately maximising sales opportunities and margin across all product lines
As company expands being adaptable and eager to take on additional responsibility and workload
Assisting with their e-commerce website (amazon shop)
Assist with the training of new starters on technical product information
Key Accountabilities
Develop a Territory Specification Plan (TSP) including territory map, target specifiers/end users, visit plan, forecast, sales strategies and tactics. This territory could be compromised of the below postcodes: NR, IP, CB, CO, CM, SS, SG, MK, HO, LU, AL, WD, EN, IG, RM
Develop and maintain strong relationships/partnerships with key specifiers and end users through delivery of CPD’s and providing technical support
Understand roles of key stakeholders within specifiers/end users
Build database of specifiers by company, specialism etc.
Develop a close working relationship with the sales support staff
Support Director(s) to ensure delivery of national deals & to deliver agreed service levels
Provide effective account planning, market intelligence, and competitor benchmarking
Ensure that there is accurate and effective administration to support account plans
Deliver budgeted sales volumes, product mix and margins
Report monthly KPI’s as defined by the role objectives
Previous technical support/ sales (essential)
UK drivers’ licence and own vehicle (essential)
Experience attending regular client meetings and pitching products (essential)
Working hours are 8:30 - 17:30
Monday to Friday
Salary £30k-£40k depending on experience plus excellent benefits
