- Lloyd Recruitment Services are currently working with a reputable business based in Uckfield who are currently in search of a Warehouse Assistant to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.
Previous warehouse experience would be preferable.
Ideally applicants will have a Counterbalance Forklift licence although this isn’t essential.
Responsibilities:
Picking & packing
Preparing goods for shipping & delivery
Stock movement
Driving the forklift (Counterbalance)
Unloading stock containers
Heavy lifting daily
Keeping all areas clean & tidy
Stock control and participating in stock takes
Liaison between other departments within the business
Opportunity available for progression into a supervisory role which will include booking in deliveries as well as other increased responsibility
Requirements:
Previous warehouse experience would be desirable
Must be hard working & punctual
Reliable and self-motivated
What is in it for you:
Hours: 8.30am – 5.30pm Monday - Friday
1 hour for lunch
Parking on site
Opportunity for overtime on a Saturday and during busy periods (if required)
Salary of £21K - £25K DOE
NB: Ideally you will be a driver due to business location
