Location: Bournemouth
Salary: £25,000 to £30,000 per annum
Schedule: Monday - Friday (9.00am - 5:30pm)

We are proud to be working with a rapidly growing company, who have created a brand-new role for an IT Support & Projects Engineer. This role is a varied role to deliver support and work on IT projects throughout the business.

Duties:

• Assisting with, owning and executing IT projects.


• Utilising the SharePoint Online administration and developing a greater knowledge of this application.


• Planning and migrating the remainder of data from an existing programme, to a new data programme.


• Creating pages and / or websites.


• Writing and maintaining Flows or Power Apps (would be an advantage).


• Ending user assistance or training on internal applications or security initiatives including SharePoint, LastPass, 2FA, Single Sign On, etc.


• Maintaining equipment inventory on spreadsheets and MDM software.


• Making allocation decisions for devices.


• Arranging return and assessment of equipment from ex-employees / clients.


• Arranging hardware repairs of devices.


• Liaising with SIP phone provider for setup / config amends of desk phones.


• Equipment quoting and purchasing.


• Maintaining "how to" / IT training documentation.


• On occasion, you may need to visit other offices to assist with IT or project work - so flexibility on travel is required.

Skills and Experience:

• IT support experience in a Windows / Azure / Office 365 environment with some exposure to project work.


• Good knowledge of SharePoint Online administration.


• Good knowledge of Power Platform is an advantage.


• General IT skills and ability to assess or learn new platforms and systems.


• Organisational skills, e.g. making equipment allocation decisions based on various factors and maintaining documentation.


• Good communication skills dealing with end users.


• Ability to own a task or project through to successful completion.


• Motivated to work on allocated tasks on own initiative.
