- Lloyd Recruitment Services are pleased to be working with a reputable business based in East Grinstead who are currently looking for an Events Project Manager to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.
The ideal candidate will have experience Project Managing outdoor events from start to finish such as glamping, yoga retreats, food festivals etc and be happy taking a hands-on approach.

Key tasks / accountabilities:
Take the Production lead in the delivery of projects and events. Producing and managing event work schedules and timelines to ensure that resources and assets are aligned across events and are not compromised
Produce and manage Event Safety Plans, working with Safety Advisory Groups (SAGs) and the internal Health & Safety Manager. Managing H&S requirements including assessing work activities, creation of documentation and on-site implementation
Work with creative teams, and clients, to create compelling briefs, assess requirements and provide marketing execution and promotion plans
Assess and develop relationships with Company partners to provide innovative and exciting activities aligned to events
Budgeting of projects ensuring best value pricing, negotiating with suppliers and making contractor selection
Liaise with venues and site service representatives and carry out site visits
Ensure projects are delivered (development, build and running on-site) on budget and on-time to the highest possible standards
Work with the Research team to ensure that customer feedback processes are in place and ensure that post event feedback is carried out after each event for the Company and client
Support the Exhibitions Executive in developing and managing internal and external exhibitions, particularly in relation to third party engagement and sponsorship
Essential skills & experience required:
Significant outdoor events experience in a customer-centric acquisition and commercial environment
Professional events management, marketing or sales qualification is desirable
Proven ability to create strong relationships with external business partners, sponsors and suppliers
Exposure and understanding of contract management
Ideally a Health & Safety qualification
Experience in producing and managing Event Safety Plans
Strong written and oral communication skills
Commercially astute
Excellent relationship management skills
Comfortable working as part of a team as well as on their own initiative
Able to manage multiple work streams and prioritise effectively to ensure deadlines are met
Able to demonstrate a positive and enthusiastic attitude
Full UK driving licence with the ability to travel extensively throughout the UK in support of events, which will include some weekend work
Working with and managing personal data in accordance with UK data protection law and Company policies
Salary of £35,000 DOE plus excellent company benefits
