- ** Remote Working ** Weekly Paid ** Monday to Friday ** 9-5.30pm **
You’ll be responsible for setting up and overseeing of the Scan Scam service, as well as providing ongoing oversight and guidance to the business, on fraud and fraud control.
The Role
Take ownership and manage set up of the Scan Scam call management operations
Develop Scan Scam in light of experience and changes to regulation and best practice
Recruit and support the training of a small team of dedicated pension scam call handlers
Establish an operational process to book and manage calls to members who may have been subject to a scam on transfers such that longer term this operation can be managed within the day-today business operation
Work with the administration teams and the trustees to handle and manage members potentially subject to a scam and provide training and guidance on potential scam activity
Provide, MI and reporting on the operation of the Scan Scam activity
Using pension administration and controls expertise to support fraud control and management approach
Establish and ensure successful connectivity with our administration teams and clients, managing expectations and ensuring alignment
Build and maintain technical tools, procedures and scam knowledge through experience.
Establish efficient workload management of other reports and stakeholders, to encourage actions to be completed within deadlines
Demonstrate accountability through delivering updates and progress
Ensure an efficient, professional service is provided to meet all client/members' needs and promote the business
Ensure all work is logged correctly for billing purposes.
Develop Fraud policies standard and controls in conjunction with the 1st line administration teams
Provide oversight and assurance over the operation of Fraud controls, guidance and training over how frauds are identified and managed and undertaken fraud risk assessments as appropriate
The Ideal Candidate
Proven experience dealing with DC and DB occupational schemes ideally with a strong understanding of risks around of pensions transfers
Previous experience within a supervisory / managerial role in a Pensions Administration or similar environment
Project management skills would be desirable
Experience in business process design
Direct member customer management skills preferable
Knowledge and experience of Fraud Risk Management processes and controls, understanding of risk and control frameworks
Interpersonal skills to included excellent written and verbal communication, and excellent stakeholder management
Good time management skills and the ability to organise and prioritise own workload and those of staff members
Must be able to work to a high level of accuracy, demonstrating attention to detail and a focus on customer service.
