Lloyd Recruitment Services are working with a reputable company in the East Grinstead area who are currently looking for an enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.

The role:
Based at the trade / sales counter, you will become an integral part of a well-established, friendly but busy team
Dealing with sales enquiries on a face to face and over the telephone
Assist with the growth of the business working as a team to exceed sales targets
Ensure that the needs of the customers are dealt with quickly and efficiently whilst providing a service that ensures that customers return on a regular basis
You may also be required to help in other roles within the branch including restocking the shop, stock control and assisting in the yard
The ability to build and maintain relationships with different types of customer
Have previous experience working on a trade counter or within an internal sales / telephone sales role is desirable
IT literate – confident operating a computer based system (full training will be given)
Good telephone manner
Friendly, articulate, customer focused
The successful candidate must be proactive in their approach towards sales and a good communicator
