- Lloyd Recruitment Services are working with a well-established company in the Lingfield area. They are currently in search of a Maintenance Technician to join their team on a fulltime permanent basis.
This role will report to the Safety & Operations Manager and will be responsible for carrying out all areas of maintenance on the Estate including all buildings and grounds.
Key responsibilities:
Maintain the grounds and buildings to the highest possible standards within budget limits and maintains the facilities in a fully operational mode
Work from the maintenance book to ensure all rooms are available to let daily and liaise closely with other team members to ensure up to date communication and understanding
Implement and operate planned Preventative maintenance Scheme for the business
Care for all Plant and Machinery
Carry out fire tests weekly and record them
Check all emergency lighting in compliance with fire certificate and to keep records up to date
Repair all plumbing and leaks
Co-ordinate priorities with Management and plan workloads and prioritise. To control and monitor outside contractors repair work to ensure value for money, health and safety compliance and quality of work
Maintain all new and existing buildings by carrying out decorating, plumbing, carpentry and buildings works where practically possible to a high standard of workmanship and finish
Assist in the development of maintenance schedules for all buildings and machinery assets (associated with building installations) to ensure that all new and existing facilities are maintained to the highest possible standards of presentation
Keep historical records for all planned and unscheduled maintenance that is carried out on items as outlined above
Ensure that all works on buildings, site work, track work, etc are carried out in compliance with all Health and Safety requirements at all times
Ensure all projects are implemented to the specifications provided and within agreed budgets, either from the P & L or within an agreed capital or operational expenditure budget
Ensure that all building regulations are complied with in the scope of all projects and on a day to day operational basis, covering Safety at Sports Grounds regulations (where applicable), Fire alarm/other safety and intruder systems, lifting equipment, passenger/goods lifts, workshop equipment, electrical equipment
Work with all site contractors involved and responsible for the delivery of maintenance services
Proactively support & assist the maintenance team in all tasks
Carry out any other tasks/duties to meet the needs of the business
Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
Skills and experience:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role of general building maintenance including electrical work, joining, tiling, painting & decorating
High level of interpersonal skills
A proven record of successfully working within a maintenance department
Trade’s qualifications / experience preferred
Hours of work:
40 hours, 5 days in 7
Flexibility toward week-end and bank holiday working is a pre-requisite of this position
