Operational Resilience Manager



Lloyd Recruitment Services are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a market leading, FTSE250 financial services organisation that seek an Operational Resilience Manager to focus on driving the Operational Resilience environment within the business, specifically in ensuring that delivery of requirements in line with regulation and the Group programme representing operational resilience in all new projects, implementing 'resilience by design’ measures, and providing management reporting.

The role will support the business to adapt expediently to business disruptions while maintaining continuous operations, staying within impact tolerances and safeguarding its people, assets and customers.



The responsibilities will cover Resilience Strategy, Operational Resilience, Business Impact Awareness, Crisis Management and Disaster Recovery. Full spec available on application.



Skills & Experience Required:



Essential





  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of emerging Operational Resilience requirements and deadlines


  • Demonstrate experience of all Resilience disciplines


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to target messages appropriately for 'C-Suite’ Executives, as well as Operational, Technological and Risk Teams


  • Ability to work independently within a defined remit, managing schedule and multiple objectives with minimal oversight


  • Ability to manage and track large quantities of data, extracting pertinent parts for reporting or escalation


  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adjust to changing priorities


  • Ability to work well with other people at all job position levels


  • Possess a working understanding of industry standards for Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery processes and procedures e.g. ISO22301, ISO 27031, BS65000 etc.


  • CBCI or CBCP certification or equivalent (BCI, DRI, ISRM, or Universities)




Desirable





  • Previous financial services sector experience


  • Demonstrable experience within Operational Risk / Crisis Management / Business Continuity / IT Disaster Recovery


  • Engagement with industry special interest groups e.g. UK Finance, Standards Boards


  • Strong presentation and project management skills


  • Experience of creating and managing a budget


  • Relevant qualification in Risk Management, Security, project management or resilience


  • ISO22301 implementer / auditor qualification
