The successful candidates will be from a technical company background, and be aware of the entire sales cycle from start to finish for this international company.
You’ll be fully confident in your abilities to deal with all stages from initial contact with the customer to placing the PO, liaising with manufacturing contacts, checking shipments and logistics including import/export post BREXIT and finally invoicing for the goods.

The Role
Process orders and liaise with sales team, customers, distributors and factories
Ensure that customer queries and orders are dealt with promptly, accurately and effectively
Process purchase orders and sales orders from customers or distributors with accuracy and speed
Pre and post sales management - obtaining quotation for shipping cost, sending out literature, providing stock level, providing standard prices etc.
Following orders until goods are delivered/invoiced – answering queries/delivery conformations/shipment handling/invoicing as well as problem solving
Responsible for using Microsoft Office and Sage X3.
Taking calls, meeting visitors and sending out post etc.
Liaise with forwarders and obtain shipping costs
Collate monthly sales data and produce a report
Assisting with other ad hoc sales duties as and when the manager and sales team require, including but not limited to absence cover for the division.
Essential Skills
Knowledge of International Shipping Import and Export activities
Technical Sales Administration experience will be a distinct advantage
Accuracy and attention to detail are essential
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Focused team player willing to help in all areas and support colleagues to reach deadlines
IT literate including MS Office, including Excel
Experience in an international environment would be a plus although not essential
