Deputy Team Leader – Financial Services

Your duties as an Assistant Manager:

 

Working within the Customer Operations function, who are responsible for on-boarding new Solicitors, underwriting client cases, KYC / AML checking, assisting both Solicitors, partners and clients with general queries, and managing those cases from initial drawdown through to loan repayment.

 

The Assistant Manager works alongside the Loan Manager and will help assign each case to a Loan Management Assistant in order for them to be managed from initial acceptance to full repayment, including tracking drawdown requests and case progress.

 

The Assistant Manager will be responsible for assisting the Loan Manager with the day to day management of the team therefore strong and proven people management skills are absolutely essential.

 

Key aspects of this position include management of team and cases, attention to detail, developing strong relationships with solicitors, clients and partners to ensure cases are effectively managed to resolution; and advising clients and solicitors of their obligations in terms of credit agreement/global terms.

 

Previous experience of managing a team and direct customer interaction is essential.

 

Previous experience gained within the financial services/banking, insurance, credit control/debt recovery, or legal fields could be advantageous, not essential. Knowledge of consumer credit would also be useful.
