- Lloyd Recruitment Services are pleased to be working with a reputable company in the East Grinstead area who are looking to recruit for an Ecommerce Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to join this company as it launches the first fully transactional website for its premium designer brand.
This position is responsible for leading all aspects of e-Commerce within the UK, reporting to the Managing Director. The role will work collaboratively with Marketing, Sales Support, IT and Logistics, and with external web development and digital marketing agencies; and will also liaise with the Group across Europe.
Key responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day running of the Company online
Content management and digital asset management under the direction of Brand guidelines
Monitor and track the e-Commerce budget, ensuring e-Commerce costs are maintained and in-line with the P&L
Provide sales forecasting on a regular basis to Finance, and the Managing Director, as well as monitoring and tracking sales against budget
Monitor online performance against the agreed KPIs, i.e. Acquisition and retention of customers
Lead initiatives to increase conversion rate and average order value
Working closely with Sales Support to ensure the highest level of service is maintained
Monitor customer contact through all e-Commerce channels and lead on strategies to improve customer contact experience
Devise and maintain reporting and analytics, leading insights across traffic channels, product performance and purchasing behaviour to inform e-Commerce strategy and ongoing website development
Working with the designated digital marketing agency plan, develop and monitor SEO and PPC activity
Devise and manage social media strategies, in conjunction with Marketing, and PR agencies
Regularly explore opportunities to increase traffic to website, monitoring performance and highlighting new initiatives
Work with IT and external suppliers on ongoing website development and new functionality, managing UAT testing and ensuring smooth transitions and efficient launches on site
Essential skills / experience required:
2 years+ e-Commerce website management and online trade marketing experience
Ideally - Previous experience marketing in construction products or a related industry
Experience working with marketing / SEO agencies would also be highly desirable
Expertise working on tracking/attribution through Google Analytics and other measurement tools
Salary of £35,000 - £45,000 plus bonus scheme and company benefits
