Lloyd Recruitment Services are delighted to be assisting a well-established, professional Pensions Consultancy that that seek an experienced DB Pensions Consultant to join their team.
This is a home based role, applicants should be based in London or the South East and must be willing to travel to client meeting.
Duties include:
Trustee governance - preparing and monitoring Trustee Business Plans, Risk Registers, etc.
Preparing meeting papers
Attending Trustee meetings
Taking and drafting meeting minutes
Preparing action logs and follow up actions from meetings to ensure these are completed in a timely manner
Aiding in the completion of scheme returns
Liaising with third parties in regard to the completion of TRAFS
Responding to client’s ad hoc queries and requests
Preparing draft communication material to members
Scheme closures, buy-ins and wind-ups
Drafting legislation updates
The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting Senior Consultants with managing their clients’ needs in relation to the services provided, ongoing project management, as well as running your own list of clients.
The candidate:
Applicants must have proven DB pensions consultancy experience and will include experience of working with Senior Consultants/Trustee Boards/Employers and providing governance and secretarial support. Exposure to a broad range of clients is important as the applicant should be confident working directly with clients and professional advisers.
It is essential that applicants possess an excellent knowledge of DB pension schemes, trustee governance, and a current awareness of current pensions regulations.
Previous client relationship experience is essential, along with strong communication skills, written and spoken.
The successful candidate will be a team player who is also able to work independently, self-motivated, client orientated, with good attention to detail and adaptable to changing client needs and expectations.
