- Lloyd Recruitment Services are pleased to be working with a global manufacturing company who are looking to recruit for a Customer Operations Executive - EMEA to join their expanding team on a full time permanent basis.
The role:
Working as part of the team supporting customers and salespeople to grow the business. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the current customer base is regularly contacted, quotations and sales orders are processed efficiently and that the complex operational demands of customers and their needs are managed during and post-sale, for example being the first point of contact for customer problems and queries. This is a varied and dynamic role in a fast-growing multinational public company. The role involves liaison with colleagues throughout the company’s operations teams.
The role covers a wide range of administration tasks including but not limited to,
Key responsibilities:
Contact the EMEA existing customer base, via phone and email to ascertain new opportunities and maintaining customer opportunities and details in Salesforce. Convert existing business into confirmed orders and new business is passed on the BDM
Working with the Global Operations Manager, Customer Operations Assistant Manager, EMEA Sales Director, and relevant Operations and Sales teams to ensure quotes are processed correctly
Operational tasks including but not limited to:
Processing customers’ orders into SAP in line with company processes
Maintain customer records on the CRM databases, ensuring changes in address or contacts are updated promptly
Process deliveries using the preferred logistics partners and completing correct paperwork
Process customer invoices in a timely manner
Process customer returns and adhere to procedures and systems
Prepare and ship customer orders/items for repair (RMA) process
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
Ensure timely response to customers’ queries and issues
Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
Prepare reports on account status as needed
Collaborate with sales and product teams to identify and grow opportunities within territory
Ensure weekly and end of month checks are carried out and inform the Customer Operations Assistant Manager once complete for checking
Checking SAP Data is correct in preparation for the Customer Operations Manager to run monthly management reports
Ensure incoming shipments are processed and stored correctly
Cover day to day tasks for the Global Team as and when required
Other ad-hoc activities to support the needs of the business or as requested by the Global Operations Manager
Qualifications and experience:
The ideal candidate will be educated to graduate level
Ideally be experienced in sales/administrative/operations or equivalent
Knowledge and skills:
Experience in SAP order processing (SAP Business One) or an equivalent system
Good verbal and written communication skills
Accuracy and attention to detail with ability to organise and prioritise
Advanced experience using Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook and Excel
Strong team working skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines
Knowledge of logistics including use of DHL, UPS and online web solutions
Bilingual – German, Spanish, Italian, French
Salary £20K - £30K DOE
Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm (37.5 hour week)
