- Lloyd Recruitment Services Ltd is delighted to be working alongsidethis well-established manufacturing company, in their search for a Buyer and Stores Manager.
The position will call upon your previous buying experience, including sourcing and maintaining a well-stocked store within strict general and project timescales. Due to the different “hats” required in this role, you’ll need to be able to handle several ongoing projects and keep a close eye on the scheduling / delivery dates and times.
Suppliers are internationally based, so the ability to efficiently manage numerous accounts with different date lines and shipping times are a must.
Experience / key skills:
5+ years of experience with buying/purchasing environment
CIPS qualification or progress towards would be advantageous
Microsoft applications experience to including Word, Excel, Outlook
First class record and diary keeper for activity tracking
Excellent communication skills via e-mail and by phone
Enthusiastic, polite and focusedat all times with internal colleagues and external contacts
Ready and willing to get involved in the workshop environment and become a valued team member
Due to the nature of the role, you’ll need to have a good standard of physical fitness as some lifting and carrying will be required

8.30am to 5pm
