- Lloyd Recruitment Services, are seeking an HR Advisor (CIPD Level 5) to join Reigate and Banstead Borough Council on a long-term sickness assignment.
Start date: 17th August 2020
End date: 26th February 2021
Hours: 9.00 – 5.30pm (36 hour working week)
Rate of pay: £15.00 p/hour
You’ll be working from home, with a safe return to the office when possible, with occasional site visits within the borough as required and pre-appointed.
Working as part of a small team of 4 (HR Manager and 2-3 HRBP’s) you’ll providing HR (especially ER) advice to managers and staff across the following areas:
Monitoring and utilisation of sickness absence procedures
Providing support and guidance to managers in all ER matters, including grievances, disciplinaries and expiring FTC.
Continue to develop COVID-19 guidance and processes to managers and employees – enabling the council to effectively provide BAU and COVID-19 and post COVID-19 / BAU services.
Advise and support managers on recruitment and selection options and processes
Assist in the creating of advertising vacancies, candidate liaise and contractual documents with Business Support Officers
Implement organisational changes and realise saving opportunities
Assist in the development and delivery of ODS and review approach to pay and benefits, talent attraction, employee health and wellbeing.
Involvement in HR-led projects
Input into the review of policies and procedures.
