- Lloyd Recruitment Services are delighted to be asked to an Electronic Repair Technician, for a leading organisation based in Crawley, within their small but very busy workshop team.
You’ll be responsible for carrying out repairs on a wide variety of equipment that can’t be "fixed in the field" and will call upon your “hands on” skills to breakdown, fault find, and fix a range of electronic units.
Coming from a workshop repair environment, your experience will include:
PCB trouble shooting
Soldering
Component level trouble shooting
Working from schematic diagrams
Identifying issues and reloading software
Loading and configuring units.
Qualifications will include:
ONC (or equivalent) in an Electronic or PC based discipline, you will have previous experience within a workshop electronic repair or production test environment.
You will have previous experience in the use of hand tools and soldiering equipment (through hole and SMD) and experience in the use of electronic test and fault-finding equipment
Qualified by experience will also be of interest to this client.
Alongside a competitive basic salary of between £20-24k (dependent upon experience), the company offer free on-site parking, and a working week of 8-4pm Monday to Friday, plus benefits package.
