- Lloyd Recruitment Services are on the search for an HR Pension and Benefits Administrator to cover a 6-month fixed term contract with their client near Canterbury.
You’ll be working as part of a team across the following areas:
Administrative support for all day-to-day activities including three pension schemes, share incentive plan, private healthcare plan and flexible benefits program.
Full administrative support for all Scheme Trustees
To support payment administration for Benefits costs
Involved in day-to-day third-party administrators to deal with enquiries, issues and complaints.
Main duties will include:
Handle queries, issues and researching more complex cases raised by third party administrators for the team.
Assist in managing all aspects of benefits communications material and updates for all UK members.
Assist in supporting senior colleagues across three pension schemes and their respective Boards of Trustees in setting up meetings, helping to collate papers, take on actions and research issues as they arise.
Assist in supporting the Share Incentive Plan - query resolution on individual cases and interface files, managing data bases and assisting with communication material.
Ensure that all data, records, files and distribution of records are managed and kept secure - liaising with archive unit, setting up archive files, retrieving old archive files, managing the library of files etc both hard copies and on line.
General ad-hoc team activities such as contribution schedules, opening post and allocation to relevant departments, maintaining activity logs and other data bases as required.
Accountabilities
Develop good relationships with third party administrators, other HR colleagues, trustees and colleagues to ensure smooth operation of service across all benefits.
Ability to be able to complete straightforward sample calculation testing to minimize errors
Involved in compiling pension scheme monthly contribution schedules and other databases.
Involved in supporting team with administrative, governance and other tasks; involved in assisting in the timely completion of team deliverables and presenting to Trustees and other parties as required.
Experience / Skills required:
Previous hands on experience gained from within a Corporate HR Pensions and Benefits role
Understanding of pension administration processes and routine calculations
Knowledge of pension scheme legislation and accountabilities
Effective team player, able to problem solve and meet individual and team targets on deadlines
Strong numerical and literacy skills required
