- Lloyd Recruitment Services are working with a leading Media and Events company recruiting for a Marketing Executive.
The successful applicant will be responsible for fulfilling the day to day promotion of specific events to attract the right quality and quantity of attendees through a range of online and offline marketing methods, as well as supporting the exhibition sales teams.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
Research target audiences
Write and create email marketing and postal campaigns
Fulfil campaign schedule of activities
Creating adverts, printed literature, web banners and social media
Manage and update website content
Liaise with media partners, sponsors, exhibitors and suppliers - building relationships
Develop clear communications and customer service for those who are registered.
Professional data management
Creating and distributing surveys to gather feedback from exhibitors and visitors
Proactive delegate sales acquisition and customer service management
Assistance with event features and content such as free seminars, workshops, awards, networking events
Assistance onsite at events (UK and overseas)
Assistance with promotion and fulfilment of publications
Knowledge of:
Exhibition/Publishing industry (desirable)
Skills:
Good organisation skills
Time management and ability to work on different projects simultaneously
Ability to work within a target driven marketplace
Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
Experience of record keeping/administration
Self-motivated, eager to achieve and get results
Good team working ethics, but also able to work individually
Confident telephone manner and able to build solid client relationships
Interpersonal skills
Appreciation of international cultures/foreign languages
Experience:
Previous experience of working within marketing
Event experience (desirable)
Educated to degree level (desirable)
