Initially the role is offered on a 12 month FTC, but may offer a permanent position after the FTC

Budget awareness and analytical skills
The ability to work as part of a team and also on your own initiative
High degree of flexibility required as unsocial hours may be necessary
Full driving licence.
It would be advantageous but not essential to have a relevant, professional qualification such as CIM
What you will do:
Provide general marketing administrative and operational support to the Group Communications team. This role works across PR, Industry Relations, Social Media, Brand and Events/Exhibitions and is key to the smooth running of the team. The incumbent will have the opportunity to help raise the companies profile within the industry by supporting the delivery of programme of attendance at exhibitions, outdoor shows, awards and events. To act as focal point for good practice organisational issues relating to the above. Some attendance at events is likely.
Events/Exhibitions - Maintain performance figures and costs of exhibition and event activities including working with organisers to ensure up to date provision of event statistics and contract agreements
Provide support in arranging hotel and travel bookings
Liaising with the outdoor trailer operator regarding the movement and up-keep of the outdoor units
Support the Exhibitions Executive in liaising with the event organisers regarding logistics and stand designers in relation to design and construction of the stand
Provide administration and logistics support to industry competitions and awards
Liaise with PR Agency and the sites team in respect of facilitation of Press trips ensuring that all logistics and support requirements are made in a timely and effective manner
Provide administrative support in developing, updating and maintaining routine press releases and media support material
Social Media – provide support to the Social Media team when required
Publicity and Industry Relations – provide support to the department including ad hoc assistance with technical data entry as required
In liaison with line manager, administer PO and goods received process on behalf of the team
Provide monthly overview of budgets to relevant team sections
