Lloyd Recruitment is working with a leading company based in Forest Row, who are currently looking for enthusiastic, reliable and motivated individuals to join their team and progress.
The vacancy is for a Mill Operator / Yard Assistant. There are opportunities to progress into more senior yard roles with additional responsibilities.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
Sorting through stock
Moving supplies to storage areas
Picking and packing orders
Dealing with customers
Unloading the products from the mill
After training – operating and managing the Mill yourself
You'll need:
To be thorough and pay attention to detail
The ability to work well with others
Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
The ability to accept criticism and work well under pressure
To be flexible and open to change
Excellent verbal communication skills
The ability to work well with your hands
Thinking and reasoning skills
This position is suitable for someone who is keen to progress and wants to learn. Full, ongoing training will be given and there are plenty of opportunities for progression for the right person
Salary of £17K - £20K DOE
