Credit Controller
Outskirts of East Grinstead
Up to £15 per hour
Lloyd Recruitment Services are working with a forward-thinking and expanding organisation within the education sector, who are seeking a professional and well-organised Credit Controller to join their Finance team on a temporary basis.
This is a key position responsible for ensuring accounts are managed accurately and payments are collected in a timely and efficient manner. The role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to build effective working relationships both internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage customer accounts, ensuring payments are up to date
- Contact customers regarding overdue balances and follow up as required
- Set up, monitor, and manage payment plans
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Investigate and resolve account queries clearly and efficiently
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure account information is accurate
- Prepare reports and maintain documentation in line with financial procedures
- Provide general administrative support to the Finance team when required
Skills & Experience Required:
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Clear, confident, and professional communication style
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workload effectively
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- High level of numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Positive and professional approach when dealing with customers
- Previous experience in credit control or finance administration is preferred
